Synopsis
When maple syrup producer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry.
I didn’t expect it to be this good!
There’s drama, suspense, tension, and the dialogue is downright hilarious!
Each character is well-developed, even if they only appear for a few minutes
However, as the plot progresses, it seems that despite the complex and personal problems faced by the three main characters, the series is mostly comedic, and the proof of this is that the director has perfectly nailed what makes a great comedy: MOVEMENT.
Hands down for the director
Indeed, most “funny movies or series” released today lack that essential ingredient, namely actors who know how to use MOVEMENT for comedic effect.
